A 27-year-old Queenstown man was in a critical condition in Dunedin Hospital last night after being struck by a car in Frankton on Saturday.
Constable Hugh O'Reilly, of Queenstown, said the collision happened on Lake Ave, Frankton, at 8.30pm.
The injured man was taken to Dunedin Hospital for treatment and was in a critical but stable condition last night.
The serious crash unit from Dunedin is investigating the accident.
Const O'Reilly said no charges have been laid.
He said the driver of the car was a female.
