The New Zealand Whisky Collection won two awards at the World Whisky Awards in London last month.
Its Dunedin DoubleCask received a gold award and its South Island Single Malt received a silver in the New Zealand whisky category.
The latter received a silver award last year as well.
It was described by head distiller Michael Byars as a "no frills whisky".
The double cask, on the other hand, required a more specialised approach.
Pursuing a "sherry-like finish", Mr Byars purchased wine barrels from Central Otago and then oxidised them before letting the whisky sit in the barrels for seven months.
The New Zealand Whisky Collection distills their whisky inside Speight’s Brewery in Dunedin before it is stored in Oamaru.
