Presenting a donation of almost $1200 to the Cancer Society’s Daffodil House in Dunedin are (from left) Oamaru Coffee Riders member Henry McHoull, Cancer Society Daffodil House and driving service co-ordinator Angelique Mawson, Coastal Otago community manager Jo Arthur, Gravel In Paradise series manager Grant Campbell, race founder Terry Hannan and Cancer Society community funding partner Craig McGregor.
Funds came from the Whiterocks Gravel Adventure which was held in Elderslie, the second event of the three-race Gravel In Paradise series. The Oamaru Coffee Riders is a community cycling group which assists with the running of the gravel bike series.
Mr McHoull suggested the money go to Daffodil House as he and his late wife, Daphne, both stayed there while they had cancer.
