Yesterdays might sound like an attempt to recapture their former glory, but there is a very sound reason for Pennywise to release this.
Lifted from a cassette recorded way back, the band, led by original vocalist Jim Lindberg, relearned the tracks in a couple of days.
Guitars bristle like buzzsaws, drums drive like a jackhammer and with barely any songs breaking the three-minute barrier, Yesterdays is urgent, visceral and a great gift to their hardcore fans.
