Health Minister Tony Ryall has given the Southern District Health Board permission to dispose of two of its buildings in Dunedin.
The board wants to sell 9 Union St, and 257 High St, which both required earthquake strengthening.
Mr Ryall said the board could re-invest proceeds in other health board assets.
