The biggest turnout was 52 at Cromwell yesterday (pictured) while the Alexandra event yesterday attracted 24 and the Wanaka event, on Tuesday, drew about 20.
Cromwell Plunket president Suzy Wood said it was the first time the event had been staged in Plunket Appeal Week, and it was ''awesome''.
''We're aiming for a bigger crowd next year''. The majority of funds raised during appeal week were used in the area to keep the Plunket rooms open, she said.
