From the sublime . . .

This artwork by year 13 artist Isabelle Daley references the approach of American artist Jeanette Hayes and her attempts to bridge the gaps between highbrow and lowbrow forms of media.

Hayes feels people are more engaged and influenced by the popular visual culture of cartoons than the more traditional visual arts, and like her, Isabelle is trying to find the similarities between them.
