A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said two fire appliances and police were at the scene of the crash, which happened about 3.40pm on Tuesday.
The crash was at the intersection of Kilmore and Barbadoes Sts.
The spokesman said no one had to be freed from either of the vehicles.
