A woman has been taken to Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries after crashing into a fence.
St John ambulance spokesman Gerard Campbell said emergency services were called to the crash at Briggs Rd, Mairehau, about 5pm on Thursday.
He said the woman had crashed her vehicle into a fence.
Campbell was unable to provide an update on the woman's condition on Friday morning.
