A boil-water notice for Naseby has been lifted.
Results from recent water testing has found it is now safe to use straight from the tap, however the Central Otago District Council urges people to conserve water.
Hoses and sprinklers are not to be used between 10am and 5pm and 10pm and 6am.
Hand-held hosing can be done every second day, during those permitted hours, by odd numbered houses on odd days and even numbered houses on even days of the week.
The council will review the restrictions over the coming days.
