Hundreds attended yesterday’s Christmas In The Bluff event, a street parade followed by a gala day at the Oyster Festival site.
Organiser Alison Patrick said the event involved dozens of floats and vehicles parading through the coastal town.
"Everybody is welcome to join the parade. It is a event to celebrate our community and bring the Christmas spirit down here."
"This is our tradition, our Bluff flavour."
After the parade, families enjoyed a day of entertainment with live music, food and craft stalls where children could make their own Christmas decorations.
Sophie Craig (9) had a great time creating her design.
"I’m an artsy kid, so I love to this kind of thing."
Organiser Kelly Fewster said all the attractions, including mini jeeps and face painting, were free for children.
"This is our way to bring the Christmas spirit to Bluff, thank our community and provide a fun day to everyone."
