A wintry blast did not deter an eager band of participants, young and old.
About 350 competitors took part in the 51st edition of the race in which walkers and runners made their way from the Clyde Dam to Alexandra.
Temperatures reached about 5degC during the afternoon as rain fell.
Alexandra Harrier and Walkers club president Jo Wilson said numbers were on a par with the 50th anniversary event last year.
"This is the first year we've needed traffic management for the event."
