Cycle trail sod turned

The next chapter in Central Otago’s multimillion-dollar cycle trail development was officially signed off yesterday in Cromwell.

Construction of the 54km Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail is scheduled to begin next week and celebrations began at a sod-turning ceremony overlooking Lake Dunstan.

The trail begins at Smith’s Way and leads  to the Dunstan Arm Rowing Club, near the Clyde Dam.
