American actor Aaron Eckhart jetted into Queenstown last week and was quick to organise a Shotover Jet ride.
Eckhart is best known for his role in The Dark Knight, part of the Batman film franchise, and Sully, released earlier this year.
The team at Shotover Jet was chuffed he decided to have a go on a ``Big Red''.
Manager Jolanda Cave said the actor was ``blown away'' by Queenstown's scenery, very interested in how jet-boats operated and keen to find out more about the environment and history.
``Aaron was such a nice guy and he was happy to take photos with customers and the staff at Shotover Jet.''
Another actor, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy and The Walking Dead) also enjoyed a blast on the Shotover River, reporting on social media he had the ``best day ever'' in New Zealand.
Other famous folk spotted in the resort over the last few days include Sacha Baron Cohen, better known for his Ali G and Borat personas and his actress wife Isla Fisher.
