A Waihi teenager missing for 12 days was found today thanks to help from the public, police say.
Horace Hone Rolleston, 15, was last seen on Hamilton's Victoria St on March 13, said Detective Simon Everson of Waihi police.
He had told friends he was staying with an older couple in Hamilton and might head to Auckland.
There were concerns for Horace's safety as he had no source of income and was not believed to know anyone in Hamilton.
The public's response to media reports had played a "major part" in finding Horace, Mr Everson said.
