A 16-year-old girl has admitted murdering a woman who died following an arson attack on a Pukekohe house last year.
The girl was charged following the death of Lynette Chapman, 49, who burned to death in a fire at her house on January 20 last year.
The girl had pleaded not guilty last year but changed her plea at a hearing in the High Court at Auckland today.
Her co-accused, a 19-year-old man, was last week sentenced to two years' prison after admitting a manslaughter charge.
The 16-year-old will be sentenced later this year. Her name suppression was continued.
