Police are hunting a 39-year-old Auckland man they say should not be approached.
Patrick Austin Pike was last seen on Sunday night around 9.30pm, at his home in Takapuna.
He was due to appear in the Manukau District Court today but failed to attend. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He was due to face two charges of knowingly making six objectionable publications, and possessing eight items of objectionable material.
He also faced a trial scheduled for May 18 for another incident.
Police warned that Pike was a danger to the public and should not be approached.
Pike had mentioned that he was thinking of fleeing the country on a boat, so police have contacted all agencies to stop him.
