A man who allegedly attacked a two-year-old girl on Auckland's North Shore in March has reappeared in court.
The 27-year-old accused, who has name suppression, faces four counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The charges were laid following after Seini Ikamanu, also called Jane, was found seriously injured at a property on the North Shore on March 26.
The accused will reappear in North Shore District Court on September 3 for a post-committal conference.
Seini underwent emergency surgery to relieve swelling in her brain following the incident on March 26.
