Receiving a breast cancer awareness information pack yesterday at the Te Kaika health hub is Sophie Taele (left), of Dunedin, given by national breast health educator Debra Leutenegger, of Auckland, and cancer kaitiaki (guardian) Mama Taana, of Dunedin.

The Breast Cancer Foundation’s travelling caravan has paid a visit to Dunedin.

Breast care nurses and educators in the caravan were able to talk to visitors about breast cancer, mammograms, advice on how to check your breasts, healthy lifestyles and family risk.

It will be at the University of Otago today and will be at the Pak’nSave car park before departing Dunedin tomorrow.
