Emergency services were called to a collision between a truck and two cars on the Dunedin-Port Chalmers Rd this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 12.35pm, near St Leonards Park.
A St John spokeswoman said one ambulance had attended and crew had treated one patient with minor injuries.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews from Willowbank and Ravensbourne attended.
When they arrived, traffic was backed up for some way towards Port Chalmers.
The crews assisted to move one of the vehicles to the side of the road, which was cleared about 1.35pm.
