Dunedin's Nature Discoveries shop is to continue trading under new ownership.
The Otago Daily Times last month reported the Meridian Mall store could close, after its owners decided to walk away from the business.
However, Nature Discoveries' spokesman Daniel Garratt, of Christchurch, yesterday confirmed the store would trade under the direction of the national franchise.
Three of the store's five full and part-time employees would continue to work in the store.
