Andrew Dodds (left), a first-year amenities horticulture apprentice, hoes around flower beds as garden curator Doug Thomson and Botanic Garden information officer Clare Fraser head down the picturesque cherry walk at the Dunedin Botanic Garden yesterday.
Ms Fraser said the walk, which was opened to the public yesterday after being closed over the winter, was one of the best places in the Dunedin Botanic Garden to view blossoms.
She highly recommended visiting the spot over the next couple of weeks, when the blossoms would be "pretty darn beautiful".
