The inductees are Pamela Clarke, a pupil from 1984-88, who is now a partner/principal at chartered accountant Nexia New Zealand.
Pip Austin (1981-83), is now general manager Australia and Southeast Asia for winemakers Sileni Estates Ltd, and Karina Duthie (1990-94), is now national operations manager of the 50-outlet Night 'n Day Group.
After Columba, Ms Clarke went on to graduate from the University of Otago with a bachelor of commerce degree, joined Dunedin firm Clarke Craw in 1992 and left Dunedin to set up a Clarke Craw branch office in Christchurch.
In 2008 Crichton Horne & Associates merged with HFK Ltd, at which time she became a partner of HFK Ltd; then in April 2016 HFK and Marriots Ltd merged to form Nexia New Zealand.
Nexia is one of the 10 largest accounting networks in the world.
Columba's committee said Ms Clarke had made a vast contribution and commitment to her industry through her work, knowledge and experience and was worthy of recognition.
She began her career in Auckland with the Villa Maria Group, eventually moving into sales and marketing then in 1997 joined French Champagne house Moet & Chandon, as its New Zealand sales manager, with its distributor New Zealand Wines & Spirits.
She next moved to Hawke's Bay in 2003 to join Sileni Estates.
Starting as group marketing manager, with overall responsibility for marketing of Sileni's four key brands and private label portfolio, in 2011 Ms Austin was promoted to general manager Australia and Southeast Asia.
Working from Melbourne, Ms Austin is responsible for the large Australian and diverse Southeast Asian markets, which accounts for 75% of Sileni's 850,000 per annum case production.
The Columba selection committee described Ms Austin as a "truly entrepreneurial person'', responsible not only for promoting the brand, but for introducing and overseeing the success of the product to new overseas markets.
After attending Columba, Ms Duthie went to the University of Otago, graduating with a bachelor of commerce degree in marketing.
She then worked on the shop floor of the Dunedin family business and 12 years later was promoted to the head office full time. At the time, the Night 'n Day group was based only in the South Island and operated 28 sites.
In her management role she assisted with the aftermath of the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, but that same year Night 'n Day Group entered into a partnership with Gull Petroleum, rolling out 21 North Island sites, prompting substantial growth for the company.
The selection committee was impressed with Ms Duthie's loyalty to both her family and Dunedin and her attitude, ambition and ability to develop a local business to a national enterprise.
Her senior management roles included employment, security, systems and processes, training, health and safety and project development and introduction of a new nationwide systems.
In 2016 the 50th Night 'n Day store was added to the group. Another site is due to open this month, in Christchurch.
