Anzac Day parades and services have been held across the North Canterbury region.

People of all ages, veterans, their families and serving personnel, turned out to pay their respects to the Anzacs in small and large services.

Some smaller rural communities held services the day before, while Amberley and Kaiapoi hosted dawn parades attended by hundreds.
