McBride (16) won four medals - three gold and one silver - at the Maadi Cup at Lake Ruataniwha.
She has now won six gold medals in sculling events at the Maadi Cup in the last two years.
McBride won the girls under-17 single sculls title on Friday and added the under-18 single sculls and under-18 double sculls, with Hannah Duggan, on Saturday.
She took control of the under-18 single sculls from the start and won by 6sec from Kristen Froude (James Hargest) in a time of 8min 24.51sec.
She then teamed with Duggan to win the under-18 lightweight double sculls by nearly 8sec.
The Kavanagh duo were first in 7min 53.99sec, followed home by the Epsom Girls' combination of Sarah Smith and Lucy Jones in 8min 1.80sec.
Marlborough Girls' was third in 8min 5.10sec.
McBride and Duggan were pipped at the post in the heavyweight under-17 double sculls by the Craighead Diocesan pair of Erica Taylor and Emma Dyke, who won in 7min 42.33sec. Kavanagh was timed at 7min 43.47sec.
McBride and Duggan have worked hard over the last two years under the direction of coach John Parnell.
They are members of the Otago Rowing Club and competed in local regattas in the club colours. This included the New Zealand championships at Lake Karapiro, when they won two gold medals together.
McBride also won the club single sculls.
The success of the girls helped Kavanagh College share the prestigious president's scull for sculling events with St Peter's School. Both schools gained 22 points.
It was a good Maadi Cup for Otago schools, which won 13 medals - five gold, three silver and five bronze.
Otago rowers also won 13 medals - three gold, four silver and six bronze - at the Maadi Cup at Lake Karapiro last year.
The Wakatipu High School boy's under-15 quadruple scull of James Ramsay, Dylan O'Connor, Casey Strachan, Jack Flanagan and cox Richard McLachlan won the gold medal in 7min 0.35sec.
It was a tight race but they had their bow in front at halfway and held their nerve as they were challenged in the last 500m.
Jack O'Leary (Kavanagh) won silver in the boys under-16 single sculls in a final sprint behind Anton Possegger (Wanganui Collegiate). Possegger was timed at 7min 29.25sec and O'Leary at 7min 29.61sec.
The Mt Aspiring College boys under-18 lightweight double sculls of Jamie Bowley and Jarrod Wellman won the bronze medal with a time of 7min 11.13sec.
The Wakatipu boys under-18 crew of George Bellamy, Williem van der Kaag, Daniel Halligan, Jack Flanagan and cox Nick Foley won the bronze medal in the novice four in 7min 7sec.
