Feed will not be an issue for Westwood Beach trainer Graeme Anderson after he won the Pryde's Easifeed trainers' prize for the third straight winter at Forbury Park.

The battle for one tonne (1000kg) of Pryde's product looked set to be a four-way stoush going into the last meeting of the Forbury Park Trotting Club's winter carnival last Thursday, but Anderson put his challengers to bed with a stunning series of results.

Anderson lined up four horses on the night - Eamon Maguire, Hopes And Dreams, Expresso Martini and Arden's Concord. All four of the pacers won their events, moving the trainer to 10 wins for the period from May 13 to last Thursday.

Anderson's 10 wins came from just 29 starters, while he managed four seconds and thirds among his other starters to end with a UDR (a percentage calculation with different weightings for wins and placings) to .4559.

He was comfortably clear of Robert Dunn, who trained nine winners, six seconds and three thirds from 40 starters for a UDR of .3333.

Phil Williamson finished third with nine wins and a UDR of .3248 from his 52 starters, with Kirk Larsen (.3244) in fourth.

Canterbury driver Samantha Ottley brought up 200 career wins on Friday at Addington behind the promising Whittaker, but also sealed the Forbury Park women drivers competition with six wins over the season.

Her final tally of 51 points (six wins, six seconds and three thirds) was comfortably clear of Kimberly Butt and Jessica Young who shared second with 35 points.

Ottley claims the Roger Kingsland Memorial Trophy back from last year's winner, Katie Cox. Ottley won it in 2014.

Pat Campbell produced a flat effort last Thursday to finish seventh, but her previous exploits at Forbury Park this season were enough for her to win the Forbury Park fillies and mares competition.

The Bruce Negus-trained filly started 13 times on the course from August 1 to last Thursday, winning two of those races, and collecting three seconds and one third. She finished with 20 points, just ahead of winter trotting star Golden Gate (18 points). Odette Jaccka was third with 16 points.

The connections of Pat Campbell receive $500 cash from the Washington VC Syndicate.
