Two men were injured after a large brawl broke out in central Auckland in the early hours of this morning.
The men, aged 18 and 24, were rushed to Auckland City Hospital in a serious condition, following the fight outside McDonald's Queen St in the Britomart area around 4.30am.
Both men had since improved, and were now in a stable condition, police said.
Two people were arrested for disorderly behaviour, and given a formal caution.
Police believe a simultaneous fight was also taking place at the ferry terminal on Quay St, around the intersection of Queen St and Quay St, at the same time.
An investigation into the fight has since been launched, and police have appealed for witnesses to help identify those involved.
